Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are no longer lovebugs.
The Jonas Brothers singer filed for divorce from the Game of Thrones star in Florida on Sept. 5, noting that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken," according to court documents obtained by E! News.
The petition notes that Joe and Sophie's two daughters—Willa, 3, and a 14-month old baby girl (identified in documents by the initials D.J.)—have been living with the singer in his Miami home, as well as other residences in the U.S.
As for the former couple's custody arrangement for their daughters, the documents state that "it is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility." Furthermore, the petition also requested the establishment of a "timesharing schedule providing for frequent and continuing contact with both parties" and the "child support obligation of each party."
Joe, 34, and Sophie, 27, who were married for four years before their split, have a valid prenuptial agreement in place, according to the petition.
E! News reached out to Joe and Sophie's reps for comment and has not heard back.
Joe's filing comes days after rumors began circulating that the pair, who tied the knot in May 2019, were headed toward divorce.
While neither the "Cake by the Ocean" singer nor Do Revenge actress have publicly spoken out about their split, Joe shared a photo from his Labor Day weekend celebrations in which his wedding ring is prominently featured.
"Happy Labor Day weekend everyone," Joe wrote alongside a photo with Kevin and Nick Jonas. "This tour has be incredible so far! Having a little family time in the Texas sunset tonight before a big Austin show tomorrow."
And just last month, Sophie rang in Joe's 34th birthday on Aug. 15 with a photo of themselves twinning in matching pajamas, writing, "Happy birthday handsome." She also supported Joe at the Jonas Brothers' New York City shows at Yankee Stadium as they kicked off their world tour.
The pair often kept details about their relationship away from the public eye, with Joe explaining to Mr. Porter in November 2022 that he found it hard to be an open book.
"But when we started dating, I realized that I didn't have a ton of stuff that was just for me," he said. "And in the end, it makes me a better person to have something for myself."
However, Sophie jokingly gave insight into their different lifestyles amid the height of COVID-19 pandemic
"Everything seems to be working out in my favor, because Joe's a real social butterfly, so I struggle to kind of lock him down and have him just spend time with me," she quipped to Conan O'Brien on Conan at Home in March 2020. "So it's like prison for him, but it's great for me."
